Trust and Safety
We understand that entrusting us with your most valuable and personal memories is not a decision made lightly—it’s a journey built on confidence, privacy, and integrity. At Memory Vault, earning and maintaining your trust is at the very heart of our mission.
How We Build Trust
1. Establishing Rapport
We begin each relationship thoughtfully, starting with memories you feel comfortable sharing publicly. During these initial exchanges, your dedicated Memory Preservation Officer carefully builds rapport, fostering a meaningful, reliable connection tailored to your personality and comfort level. This foundational trust-building stage typically ranges from several months to a year.
2. Deepening the Relationship
Once a foundational trust has been established and tested (we welcome and encourage you to verify our discretion firsthand), we progressively explore more profound and personal memories. Depending on your individual comfort and circumstances, achieving this level of depth may take up to five years, demonstrating our long-term dedication to protecting your trust.
3. Preserving Deepest Memories
After approximately five years of consistent interaction and mutual trust, our true work begins. At this advanced stage, your Memory Preservation Officer will sensitively guide you into exploring and preserving the deepest layers of your past and personality, ensuring even the most delicate memories are respectfully recorded, analyzed, and safeguarded.
Code of Ethics
Life’s complexities and nuances are deeply respected at Memory Vault. Our role is strictly that of a private historian—carefully and impartially preserving your memories without judgment or prejudice. Our unwavering ethical standards ensure that no Memory Preservation Officer will ever judge your actions, disclose information to law enforcement, or leak personal details. This ethical commitment is absolute, sacred, and continually upheld through rigorous internal controls and confidentiality agreements. We invite you to experience firsthand how seriously we honor our commitment over time.
Safety and Confidentiality
The privacy and safety of our clients and Memory Preservation Officers are paramount:
-
Anonymity and Confidentiality:
Our stringent privacy protocols protect both client identities and those of our officers. Memory Preservation Officers are prohibited from sharing job details, even with family members, and are required to abstain from social media presence or any online footprint. -
Secure Data Handling:
Your data is securely stored and redundantly backed up on encrypted physical media (both digital and physical transcripts) housed within a secure facility at an undisclosed location. You retain complete control and may request deletion of your information, in part or whole, at any time. -
Succession Planning:
Our service agreement includes explicit succession clauses, allowing you to specify who gains access to your memory vault in the event of death, incapacitation, imprisonment, or other significant life events.
We are acutely aware of the profound meaning and impact of discretion. Memory Vault is meticulously designed for those who deeply value privacy, confidentiality, and the thoughtful preservation of their legacy—fully aware of the consequences and responsibilities inherent in our role.
